Annual "Give a Kid a
Chance Back To School Outreach."
July 19, 2008
Two locations: the Boys and Girls Club in Canton and
His Hands Church in Woodstock. This is an outreach that provides
kids who otherwise might not have what they need, with
everything they need to start the school year right (medical and
dental screening, backpacks with school supplies, clothes, new
undies and socks, Bibles, etc.)
We're looking for two things right away:
1. Gently used MODEST clothes in all sizes 4T - AdultXXXL
2. Christian Volunteers who can smile and love on a kid and
his/her family. Volunteers should be HS+ in age.

THE FOSTER CARE
SUPPORT FOUNDATION INC., Roswell, GA
offers free clothes, toys, and infant equipment for Georgia’s
basic-care foster children. Each child receives 6 outfits,
underwear, socks, shoes, coat or bathing suit, toys, books and
misc. items. Infant may receive on loan, a crib, car seat, high
chair, stroller. All items are free upon availability, nothing
is sold. FCSF is a non profit 501©3 tax exempt organization run
mostly by volunteers.
They welcome donations of gently used clothing of all sizes, as
well as supplies for babies (cribs, strollers, etc) that are
still in like new or gently used condition. For more

North Fulton Community
Charities, Roswell, GA
The mission of North Fulton Community Charities is to prevent
homelessness in North Fulton by supporting families in their
homes during short-term emergencies. By pooling the resources of
local religious, business, and civic groups and individuals,
NFCC assists families with rent, utilities, transportation,
food, clothing, medicine, and other basic needs. NFCC also
coordinates special assistance to families during the holidays
and matches volunteers with projects. They accept
donations of food, clothing, furniture, household goods, and
food. And, of course, monetary donations. For more
