Homeschool Chess Classes

The following classes are offered in Woodstock and Marietta for the fall. Also, if you are part of a group who would like to schedule a chess class for another time, I am available at other times. Wednesdays - 10:30 AM Beginners Chess Class - ages 6 and up
For those who have just begun to play, or have never played, this class will teach all the basics of chess in addition to all the special moves played by scholastic and championship players. It will also teach some great strategies that the champions use to win games.

Wednesdays - 9:30 AM - Intermediate Chess class - ages 7 and up
(For those who have played some for some time, or have taken the beginners class) We will learn new tactics and then have an opportunity to practice them against opponents! The focus will be on checkmate and winning strategies. We will also be working with chess clocks in order to prepare the student for tournament play under pressure. Throughout the year, we will have a schedule of tournaments in the Georgia for your child to participate in.
