What is an "EDUVATION ?"...... It is Educational opportunities wrapped in or disguised as a family vacation. And when you do it on a 7 night cruise to exciting destinations it becomes an unforgettable "whale" of a week!!
November 21, 2008 National Geographic Geography Bee for all homeschoolers (4th - 8th grade) in North Atlanta will be held through CHEER on Friday, Nov. 21st at 9:00 a.m (Perimeter Church in Duluth, GA).    This is open to all homeschoolers in our area not just CHEER.   National Geographic requires homeschool groups to pool together to represent a large population than your average support group and CHEER is it again this year.

Geo Bees are challenging but FUN!   All competitors get to answer at least 7 questions (even if you get them all wrong).   Many questions are multiple choice.   The top 10 competitors go on to the finals with  maps and harder questions.    The winner gets a chance to qualify for the STATE Geo Bee by scoring high on a written test administered at a later date.
