(This event repeats every month on the first Tuesday.)
INK hosts Homeschool Days year round!
Every month there is a different craft activity based on
a theme! Homeschoolers get HALF off the regular
price! $4.00 per person-children and adults. Under 2 is
free.
Located just a short drive north of Atlanta, you will
find a one-of-a kind unique, fun destination for the
entire family. Interactive Neighborhood for Kids, Inc.
(INK), located in Gainesville, Georgia, is a hands-on
Children’s Museum where children can role play and learn
through practical experiences about being a banker,
grocery store clerk, doctor, dentist. hair stylist and
much much more. All exhibits are designed to provide a
unique experience and to actively engage young minds
(not to mention, it’s just plain fun!). No

Gwinnett History

Topic: The American Revolution in Georgia
Class is 2 hours in length and cost $3 each.
Pre-registration is required. (Note: if you are not a
resident of Gwinnett County, contact us before
registering. We are here Monday through Thursday, 10am
to 4pm.)
This year we are
offering two classes each day. The morning class is for
ages 6-10 and lasts from 10:00am to noon. It will
include both instruction and hands-on activities.
Parents are required to stay with their morning students
unless special arrangements have been made.
The afternoon class is for ages 11-up. It will last from
1:00 to 3:00pm and parents are not required to stay if
an emergency contact form is on file. You can register

The Garden will host an exciting day of tours and
activities exclusively for home school groups.
Supplement your life science, botanical and
environmental studies by visiting a tropical rain
forest, a desert house, and a native Georgia Bog. The
Garden also has a 2-acre Children's Garden focusing on
the interactions between people, animals and plants.
A discounted rate of $6 per student and $6 per adult
chaperone (maximum two per student) will include Garden

HomeSchool Academy
An exciting program where students explore animal and
science concepts in a fun, interactive environment. The
HomeSchool Academy offers one 2-hour program per month
that is specifically designed for home school students
in grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12. Each program centers
around a specific grade-appropriate topic and includes
games and activities, zoo tours, and animal encounters.
Programs occur September through May, from 1:00 – 3:00
pm on pre-set Tuesdays.

THEATRE WORKS OF GEORGIA, Sandy Springs
Church of the Redeemer, 5185 Peachtree Dunwoody Rd. in
Sandy Springs. These are one day, two hour workshops
designed to give you flexibility in scheduling around
other curricular and extracurricular activities.
Workshop for Older Actors: (ages 9-11)
Through games, exercises and improvisational scenes we
will explore the actor tools of voice, body and
imagination. Students will also begin to explore some
relaxation/concentration techniques employed by
Stanislavsky, the famous Russian acting teacher, and
learn a little bit about what has come to be known as
his "method."
